Break a PDF into its individual pages, each one a complete PDF of its own. Useful when only part of a document needs sending, or when a scanner has produced one long file.

About the formats
About PDF
PDF fixes a document's layout so it looks the same wherever it is opened, which is why it is the usual format for anything final. It is normally used for contracts, invoices, reports, forms and anything meant to be printed or archived. A PDF is designed to be read rather than edited, so changing the text after the fact is awkward.

What happens to your file
Your file is uploaded to FilesMagic's own conversion servers over an encrypted connection, converted there, and deleted as soon as the download has been sent. We do not keep copies, and we do not log file names or file contents.
Questions
Why is the result a ZIP file?
Splitting produces one PDF per page, and a browser can only be handed one file. They come back together in a ZIP, named page-1.pdf, page-2.pdf and so on.
Can I split out just a range of pages?
Splitting always produces every page separately. If you want a specific range as a single document, use Extract PDF pages instead.
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
Yes. The work is done by FilesMagic's own engine, so the file is uploaded over an encrypted connection, processed, and deleted once your download has been sent.
