About the formats
About PDF

It is normally used for contracts, invoices, reports, forms and anything meant to be printed or archived. A PDF is designed to be read rather than edited, so changing the text after the fact is awkward.
About JPEG
JPEG compresses photographs by discarding detail the eye is least likely to notice, which makes photo files small. It is normally used for photographs, camera output and images on the web. It cannot store transparency, and every re-save discards a little more detail.
What to expect
- A single-page PDF returns one image; a multi-page PDF returns a ZIP with one image per page.
- Up to 50 pages.
- Password-protected PDFs are not supported.
What happens to your file
Your file is uploaded to FilesMagic's own conversion servers over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and converted there in a temporary workspace, which is removed once processing completes. We do not keep copies, and we do not log file names or file contents.
