Extract PDF pages
Pull specific pages out of a PDF into a new document. You choose which pages and in what order, so this doubles as a way to reorder a few pages.

Up to 25 MB and 50 pages. Password-protected PDFs aren't supported.
Pages start at 1. The order you type is the order you get, so 5,2,3 keeps that order.
How to use it
- Choose the PDF you want pages from.
- Type the pages you want, like 1, 4-6. Order matters: 3,1 puts page 3 first.
- Press extract and wait while the file uploads.
- Download the new PDF.
About the formats
About PDF
PDF fixes a document's layout so it looks the same wherever it is opened, which is why it is the usual format for anything final. It is normally used for contracts, invoices, reports, forms and anything meant to be printed or archived. A PDF is designed to be read rather than edited, so changing the text after the fact is awkward.
What to expect
- Pages are written in the order you list them, so 3,1 puts page 3 first.
- Page numbers start at 1, and a page outside the document is rejected rather than skipped.
- Password-protected PDFs are not supported.
What happens to your file
Your file is uploaded to FilesMagic's own conversion servers over an encrypted connection, converted there, and deleted as soon as the download has been sent. We do not keep copies, and we do not log file names or file contents.
Questions
How do I write the page numbers?
Single pages and ranges, separated by commas: 1, 4-6, 9. Pages start at 1, and they are written out in the order you list them.
What if I ask for a page that does not exist?
The request is rejected and tells you so, rather than quietly returning a shorter document than you expected.
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
Yes. The work is done by FilesMagic's own engine, so the file is uploaded over an encrypted connection, processed, and deleted once your download has been sent.
