Convert HEIC to PNG
HEIC is the format an iPhone uses by default, storing photos at roughly half the size of an equivalent JPEG. Converting it to PNG gives you a file suited to logos, icons, screenshots and any image with sharp edges or transparency.

About HEIC
HEIC is the format an iPhone uses by default, storing photos at roughly half the size of an equivalent JPEG. It is normally used for photos taken on an iPhone or iPad. Support outside Apple devices is patchy, which is the usual reason for converting one.
About PNG
PNG compresses without discarding any detail, and supports a full alpha channel for transparency. It is normally used for logos, icons, screenshots and any image with sharp edges or transparency. Lossless compression means photographs come out considerably larger than the same image as JPEG.
What happens to your file
Your file is uploaded to FilesMagic's own conversion servers over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and converted there in a temporary workspace, which is removed once processing completes. We do not keep copies, and we do not log file names or file contents.
